FOOD SHELF COLLECTION & BOOK GIVEAWAY
- Saturday, May 21, 2022
- 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Carpenter Carse Library in Hinesburg, VT
Map of Memory Lane, by local author Francesca Arnoldy, is a story inspired by her own early conversation with her grandparent and gently introduces the topic of loss while celebrating the simple moments we share.
Francesca received an order of these picture books with mostly unnoticeable, slight imperfections — and wants to share these books with the community. During the library’s hours on Saturday, May 21, come grab one of these signed “seconds” with a specialty postcard (while supplies last) in exchange for a donation to the Hinesburg Food Shelf.*
We’re specifically hoping to collect a variety of shelf-stable kids’ snacks; examples of such desired items include:
- Canned fruit
- Dried fruit
- Granola bars
- Mac and cheese
- Nut or seed butter
This is the same day that the library will be hosting its monthly Saturday storytime at 11 am, if families are interested in attending. Please bring donations on the allotted day — though if you have questions (or may not be able to make it then and wish to arrange an alternate time to connect) please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
**Donations are encouraged, although not required for receiving a book. All families are welcome to participate!
